First, the massive earthquake that occurred whether it be 7.9 at which i first heard reports or the 8.8 or 8.9 that i am now hearing reports about now. If you watch the different new video you will see. The earthquake caused severe damage from the initial shaking to the tsunami that hit shortly after. The devastation I am seeing on the news is something I simply can not describe.

Coming from a town on the Jersey Shore, I have never noticeably felt the effect of any seismic activity. The idea of the ground shaking violently and for then a tsunami to ensue us truly unreal to me. I just literally couldn’t imagine it. With clear video of a giant tsunami simply washing over Japan and taking out anything in its path, its just unbelievable. On one of the videos I actually saw a truck speeding away from the tsunami that was approaching! Imagine driving your car and seeing a tsunami in the rear view mirror?! Insane?!

After seeing the footage from Japan I chalk up earthquakes near the top of my worst natural disasters list. Especially since i live probably about 10 miles from the shore with those crazy ass tsunami’s. Not only was there an earthquake in Japan, but not too long ago in ChristChurch, New Zealand as well and before that in Haiti. I just hope we dont need to deal with that type of crazy shit in Jersey anytime soon. Time to go knock on some wood.

One thing I am extremely grateful for is my career. Unlike so many of m peers,  I have known what I wanted to do for a living since I was about 12 years old. I am 23 now and have amassed a solid understanding of all the factors involved in running a successful web based business. And yet I know I still have so much to learn. I have begun my career in the area of internet marketing and am dedicated to expanding and sharpening my marketing knowledge with the goal of making a significant impact on whatever company I am with. I love what I do and can fully see myself making websites till the day I die.

Another great thing that is in my life is my girlfriend. We have been together over two and a half year and I love her more everyday. I don’t know what I would do without her. I recently had fallen and split my head open and she has been truly amazing to me. Helping me with anything I needed. I can’t thank her enough.

The year is coming to an end and a 2011 is arriving. I have a feeling big things are going to happen this coming year!

I start Monday Aug 17th at 9am. Hopefully everything goes well.
